I am looking for administration work, ideally a more senior role than a clerical assistant or just an office clerk who would do the photocopying, filing and making the tea!

Can you advice me of any good websites which would hold such vacancies together with any relevant newspapers or other publications.

Finally, a bit about myself -

Ideally, I want to develop my career to become a Chartered Secretary and apart from the requirement of passing their professional exams, I also need to have relevant work experience which can be in office administration. However, they do not clarify what relevant work experience is. I guess it would be more senior and involved than office clerk.

I recently posted a very basic CV on monster.com, within 24 hours I had a recruitment agency on the phone and within a week I had a new job as an accountant! This is a big step for me as I am currently employed as a bookkeeper/company secretary/PA to the MD and GOD (general office dogsbody!) The recruitment agency in question specialise in accountancy work but there's loads of people out there looking for you!!!!! Most companies are willing to pay for you to take your professional exams, and even better most would prefer you to be unqualified because they get to pay you less! Good luck with the search
