As plenty of others have advised, I would contact your doctor or hospital straight away so some tests can be carried out.It could be something less serious such as high-pressure but if not treated could lead to a stroke. It could also be a sign of something more serious such as a brain tumour- my dad unfortunately suffered from one and it started out as blurred vision.Don't be overly worried though as when the tests are carried out, hopefully the hospital will be able to give you a clear prognosis and if you need treatment then you are in the best possible place.Knowledge really is power and the longer you leave your condition the less treatable it may be.Good luck!
To those pple who joke about someone else's genuine medical concern, grow a sensitivity bone as I doubt many pple will be laughing!

Exact same things happen to me when I stand up too fast, I am VERY busy and in a hurry trying to get errands done, oh gosh it happens to me for so many reasons. Sounds like all the running around you are doing, or sometimes it can hit right out of nowhere, sounds like your equilibrium gets out of whack. I am not a doctor but I can say, I get this almost daily, always have and probably always will. I was going to good look some sites up for you but I ran across the below page on yahoo ask/answer. The question itself isn't exactly like your situation but close. The answer however is right on and will make you feel so much better. If you have other symptoms or still question what is going on, GET YOUR REAR END TO THE HOSPITAL. LOL. I know it's long but if I were you, I would read the answer on the page listed below to the very end.

You definately have to go to the doctors or the hospital for this, even though your symptoms have now gone. It does sound like a TIA attack (mild stroke) but it also sounds like you could have had a mild heart attack! Dont be alarmed, its just the way you said you had a tightness in your jaw and throat, sometimes you can have a heart attack and not actually have the pain in your chest, but you can have other symptoms. They can do a blood test to see if you have had a heart attack. Your husband did the right thing by giving you an aspirin, but you definately have to see a doctor, cos you may need to take aspirin on a daily basis from now on. You need some tests.

Being a First Responder with the Ambulance service, we normally ask three questions to determine whether a stroke has occurred, the first question is to ask the patient to SMILE, the second is to raise both arms, and the third is to repeat a very simple sentence ie its sunny out today, watching each action as the patient carries these out looking for any weakness in the face and arm muscles, and any difficulty in speech. Not a conclusive test, but any form of dizziness needs investigating, hope this helps.

Get to a doctor, who may want to perform some tests. Especially get your blood pressure checked. They may do a brain scan.
If this is a mini stoke or TIA then its a warning that a major one could be on its way so treatment is needed NOW!!

It could be vertigo. But I would contact the emergancy room and talk to a nurse there, they'll tell you if you need to go or you're fine. If you're worried, then you should follow instinct and go.
