no, china is still exectuting people, and lots of Europeans are travelling there to buy organs. Because the orgens cost so much money, and there is a big demand for them, there is no way of knowing if the chinese are executing people too early (ie if their trial has finished)or if they will execute someone just for the money. Its a sick situation.

If human organ sales were made laegal, and human cloning was also legalized, we could be in serious trouble.

No, I don't think this should be allowed.

No that would prompt people to sell there organs like a kidney. Back out of the deal and sell again later. Just to much evil in selling organs. Familys would fight over who to sell there dead relatives organs and such. Not a good idea, but a good question.

where there's a way to make money mankind has a habit of resorting to the worst possible to make that money. if sale of organs is made legal, there'd be nothing to stop ppl getting killed for organs, and hospitals letting the patients die coz they make money that way. donation is one thing, but sale of organs is gonna lead to a medical disaster scenario.
if u've seen what can happen in developing countries, u'd know how frighteningly likely deaths over organs for money can be.

No. It has way too many ethical and criminal issues attached. We should do more to encourage donation though -- perhaps assume all organs ARE donated UNLESS specifically stated. Most people don't really care if their organs are harvested, they just don't think to check the box on their license.

No. People would be getting killed for their organs. Hospitals, which always need money, would be letting people die so that their organs could be used. Hmmmmmm...or would that money go to the family? I guess I've never really thought about it before.

No way.....

If we did, we'd have the murder and crime rates slyrocket. Think about it, people will kill innocent people and take their organs and sell it to make a profit. It would be like drug-trafficing but would use organs instead of cocaine, heroine, etc.

that may lead to trouble such as people dying simply beacuse someone will pay for their organs. the organs should be got by donation, yno people who die without being mudered for their organs.
