for a college student to have to grow beans for a science class? i thought i did that in the 3rd grade!!

You might be expected to pay a bit more attention, and learn a bit more, than you were in third grade.

Did you get a degree for your third-grade dissertation? Because you're expected to get one now. Be open and learn.

Yup, had to do that in elementary school. Remember sticking toothpicks in the potato thing too? Yea .. totally sucked.

depends on the objective. Well I know people in their PhD degree doing the same(genetically engineered ones).

What are you studing for? If it has a connection to what you are going to school for and then you figure it all out you will feel pretty stupid.
