I use Encarta Pocket Dictionary which is available on Microsoft website FREE. Its size is very small too and contains almost every single word. Its available in many languages too. But u need to install Microsoft Reader to open the dictionary. Once installed, u can rename the Dictionary from msebdict.lit to *******.lit (Do not forget to keep .lit at the last or Microsoft Reader wont recognize the Dictionary). For eg. u can change it to "Encarta Dictionary.lit". No hassles! Its a small application and available FREE too. No viruses, nothing. All Microsoft certified products. Its really worth. Have fun!!
Note: U must have Valid Windows Operating System to download anything from www.microsoft.com

Not sure how you are going to use the dictionary.... If you are just looking up words, you don't need to download one. Go to www.dictionary.com and type a word in the bar at the top of the page. If you want one that will automatically spell-check a document you've typed, there should already be one in your Word program (or whatever you are using).
