Smart - how many stamps would they have had to buy to send something out to everyone they know twice?

Got my first one at end of September. Friend saw the perfect present for me and sent it as soon as they'd bought it with a card. I managed to wait a whole 90 seconds before I opened it. It was a great present!

sometimes we tend to get the wrong meaning when people do hings for us. to be honest i haven't received any Christmas cards yet but it was really thoughtful of them. what if in the heat of moving and trying to settle down they had forgotten to send a card or assumed they sent a card and it was the change of address card they had sent. they may really be dong it out of good gestures so that you are not forgotten at Christmas and don't forget the nearer it is to Christmas thee more work the post offices would have and you might not get the card on time. its th gesture that counts and not the timing.from November the shops put up Christmas decorations and trees so its the season.

Yes I have recieved 2 already. It annoys me a little. Christmas comes around soon enough that christmas starts in October these days. I suppose if they are busy setting up a new home its forgiveable, but surely they could have just put the new address on the envelope and saved the cost of change of address cards.

seems strange doesn't it how some people start their Christmas card sending so early and some of us just keep putting this chore off until the last minute. truthfully can not get in the mood for Christmas so I'll be like Scrooge this year -- that is before he got the Holiday Spirit.

Yes i've received one already. It's from a long time friend who takes great delight in getting hers to me before I get mine to her.

I had her back one year though, I wrote an extra one for her at Christmas time, kept it safe and sent it the following year, in August! That's the only year I ever beat her.

As for your hubbys cousin, perhaps they just wanted to make sure they give you enough time, so as they'll get their Christmas cards delivered to their new home.

I send mine out the day before Thanksgiving. They get them that Friday. I usually get alot of them in the mood for Christmas. I enjoy Christmas and love to have fun with my family. I would never send them out before November though,That's just plain crazy....lol!!
