It's hard to filter through all the advice and instructions given when you have a baby. My husband and I have decided to politely take it all in, and then make our own decsions for our baby. Our parents were told to put all of us on our stomachs, and now the doctors have changed their mind's and started the "Back to Sleep" method. I think it all has to do with your child. Babies with colic might to better on their stomachs. And once your baby starts rolling (which I'm sure she has at 7-months), it won't matter how you lay them in their cribs...they are capable of flipping to get comfortable anyway. There is no sense in rushing over to flip them onto their backs all the time!
Good Luck and congratulations!

If your sister is able to roll over, sleeps in a crib without pillows or large blankets, then it isn't a problem. Don't worry.

As long as she is turning back and forth on her own, she'll be okay. Just be sure to remove all fluffy bedding, pillows, and stuffed animals from her crib. No sense in taking a chance!

Although not recommended by doctors, I've slept on my stomach almost since birth and I'm 53. Nothing bad ever happened to me.

When my daughter started doing this I was a bit worried too, but if you think about it - if she can turn on to her stomach, then she can always turn back!! She's ok.
