I have constructed a lot of corrugated structures, mezzanines and floors etc, the manufacturer will make openings, vents etc. to fit , or have them in stock. Often times I would 'hide"the edge of the B-decking (or corrugated) with the proper sized angle sheet, with a roof I am sure, the vents have been taken into account. I picture a manufactured circular shaped 'angled' ring, to be sealed down around the hole, then the decking will be 'cut to fit' around the vent (which will stick up higher than the decking, and then flashing will be sealed with a roofing cement or adhesive or tar. So, it'll end up sealed on the bottom, decked then flashed.

I'm not getting up on the flippin' roof to measure it but I seem to recall the coated steel box section roofing I used on my workshop was a metre (39") wide.
