In the transfer of Wayne Rooney from Everton to Man Utd, the deal included bonuses for Everton depending on how many trophies Rooney wins while at Man Utd.

Everton's leading goalscorer, Andy Johnson, is unable to play against Man Utd this week due to a hamstring problem.

Does anyone see any connection between these two statements?

I believe the bonuses are something like £1m for each Premiership title, £3m for Champions League.

You would really need to know the size of the bonuses and how they compare to the extra money Everton would recieve by being 1 or 2 places higher at the end of the season.

I think Man U would probably beat Everton in their current form.

But football is a murky world.

i surely love Liverpool. Everton, Tottenham, and Aston are the purely different communities i will tolerate. Everton 2 - guy U.- a million Everton Louis Saha- (ex guy U participant) 39' Jo'- sixty 3' guy. U Giggs- seventy one' (both Ronaldo or Rooney will omit one with ten or a lot less minutes to bypass and guy U. will lose in a dramatic adventure.)

Makes you think.... If Everton lose perhaps some questions need to be asked. As a Liverpool lad with red blood I hope Everton do it for the sake of harmony and public relations ;-)

The only connection that I can point out is that Everton is going to be coming into some money at the end of this season...

I honestly don't see what connection everyone else is seeing...Anyone care to explain please?

Good thinking. I hope United win on Wednesday, we dropped 2 points at home to that Russian club on Sunday.

i like the way you are thinking, add the fact that Tim Howard cant play and you could be an American with conspiracy theories. if you think for one minute you could be a detective and solve this mystery that uefa or fifa couldn't, stay working in the petrol station
