I thought I had read all of Patricia Cornwell books. I know that she had a relationship with Benton Wesley and he was supposed to be killed off in one of her books. I picked up TRACE and he is back again. When was he discovered alive..what book am I missing?

Im probably not the best person to be asking, i havent read all the books yet, and hadnt even any idea, that she was planning on killing him off. I think she is a fantastic author though, i really do hope there are many more Kay Scarpetta based novels from Patricia Cornwall.......
just as a note, if you like Patricia Cornwall, check out Karin Slaughter as well, i think she is just as good if not better......Blindsighted is the first book based in Grant County, Georgia, followed by Kisscut, A faint cold fear, Indeliable, and Faithless.....she also has a new novel called Tryptych, which not based around the other novels.
I own them all and find them to be fantastic....

Yes...Wesley was killed...what a blow to Scarpetta.I wish Cornwell woudl stick to novels concering Lucy and herself

Benton is revealed to have been in hiding all these years in the novel, Blow Fly.

He was in the Witness Protection program. Came back in Blow Fly.
