The one where the queen of a castle throws some guy in the dungeon and uses him for....oh, wait. I'm thinking about something different.

There are too many good ones to decide...however, keeping in mind that Greek and Roman Deities were just the same, as their original Greek names were simply translated into Latin by Romans (es: Zeus= Jupiter, Era= Juno, Artemis= Diana, etc etc...), I'd say the myth of Rome's foundation is one of the best ones

The one related to my name: the story of Daphne & Apollo. While I don't quite agree with the Greeks' idea of 'saving' Daphne from a lustful Apollo, I like the quirky chase...and knowing that I was named after a tree. Also, I absolutely love the sculpture by Bernini based on this myth. I read that it was placed in a hallway such that a visitor would start out seeing Daphne's normal form but watch her metamorphosis as they walked around the sculpture.

I am a fanatic for greek mythology, I love to watch the movies and documentaries when they come on tv..

I'd have to say that Helen of Troy is my favorite myth, however, in the movie I saw about it, and a different movie, alexander maybe, they both have different views on how achilies tendon happened...so I'm a bit confused =/

Well, I love the tale of Pandora's Box(because hope was left inside and I often feel as if I've acted like Pandora) as well as the story of Persephone:

I actually took classical lit in high school and fell in love with mythology, which was something I was always interested in anyway :)
