You wanna be careful when deifying fantasy or sci-fi writers - that's how we got Scientology!

His solo stories are bloody good mind. Knights Of Dark Renown and Morningstar prob being my favourites.

Not god, just dead alas. He's an excellent writer though and I have never been dissapointed yet. He's still got one book to come out as the final part of the troy trilogy. Lets hope that he got far enough into it and his notes are all useable. It would be a shame to have someone ghost write something that tarnishes his name.

Currently I'm reading the Lion of MAcedonia again for the god knows how many time

Not God, but he is good.
An excellent Fantasy author. If you're into that sort of novel then he is one of the masters of the genre.

Edit: johninmelb just wrote of Knights of Dark Reknown. I actually read that as part of my English Literature course in school many, many years ago. It was very good!
