You must be a Chelski fan to make such a ridiculous statement!!
i'm a Spurs fan,so have no great love of Man U. or Ferguson....but he is miles ahead of Mourinho.i think he's won over 25major trophies(including several at Aberdeen, with no money and when he had no experience!).Mourinho would take at least 10years to even get close to ferguson's achievements, that doesn't mean he's not a great manager,we just don't know yet!! he was at Porto who are a massive club and had some great players when he took over, now he is at Chelski, with more money than sense! so is he really that great? or just very lucky?
i bet if you put Mourinho in charge of a club like Aberdeen,he wouldn't acheive what Sir Alex did!!
get your facts straight mate!!

Please reason do you know what it means to bulid different teams and bring up young players to be proffessionnal superstars if you knew what you were saying you will never be asking dull questions like this.Since Sir Alex came Manchester United have always been on the top.Even Mourinho has confirmed that Sir Alex Ferguson is the boss don't you start comparing Mourinho with him because you are just wasting your time.Sir Alex Ferguson is considered the greatest manager in British Football history is it Manchester United fans who gave him the award. Please think before you speak. You are the one who has no soccer skills because you will not be talking like this.If Abramovich leaves Chelsea Mourinho will win NOTHING with them. When Sir Alex Ferguson won the treble he did not buy the best players in the world. Most of those players were brougght up from United's youth academy

You don't have to be the best team in Europe to win the champions league Liverpool proved that, and Chelsea still haven't won with the best team and most expensive team in Europe.
Alex Ferguson has proved he is a great manager by winning the champions league and plenty of domestic trophies. Mourinho also has an unfair advantage in having billions of Pounds to waste, when Fergie won it was with a team that was put together mainly from their Youth System Giggs, Becks, The Neville's, Scholes. Oh i hate Man U but respect what they have achieved over the years and i hate Chelsea for the fact they feel that they should have the same standing as Man U and Liverpool for winning 2 titles and a carling cup, in 10 years maybe i will have the same respect for them as i do Man U

Suggest you look at Fergies total record. He won the European Cup Winners Cup as Manager of Aberdeen beating Real Madrid in the Final. He didn't have money to spend but he managed to produce some of the outstanding Scottish players of that era. Mourinho is not in the same League as Fergie as a Manager and he is the only one who continuously blows his own trumpet. A case of ADD I think.

I'm a Spurs fan and I think it's safe to say that Sir Alex Ferguson is one of the greatest football managers of all time.
To ask if he would be as successful as Mourinho in another club and country is ridiculous. He's done it already. Don't forget that Sir Alex did it at Aberdeen before he came to Manchester. Aberdeen is in Scotland and therefore another country!
Question answered.
Mourinho is not in the same league! Give him another 10 years to prove himself...

I think you've got your facts all jumbled up. Alex Ferguson is more successful than Mourinho. And he's also won the CL and CWC (with Aberdeen).
Not to mention leading Scotland in WC 1986.

The success of a team is not totally depends on the management skill of the coach itself but also attitude of the players.

your obsession with comparing sir Alex and Jose is not healthy. you choose to change teams from man utd to chelsea. now stop trying to justify this mistake, no one agrees that Jose is better or worse. they are two talented managers with different situations and budgets. the league does not lie and will not at the end of the season. i am lucky my father supported man utd and steered me in that direction because they play football, and Alex has continued that theme, mourinho has completely changed a chelsea team who played a slick quick passing game into a slow very unattractive game which in my humble opinion is boring to watch.

You talk a load off one sided s**t,I am a Liverpool fan and even i can see the tremendous achievements off Sir Alex, look at the state off that club when he took over and look at it now. They have money now mainly because off him,ask Leeds United would they liked to have had him a few years ago.Mourinho had great success at Porto, but he wouldn't have any at Chelsey without the Russians cash.
