ears or belly button?

Okay, I Am Thinking about Getting Another Peircing.Im 13 And Have Two Holes In My Ears.Both On the Bottom.My Parents Gave me Consent To Get What I Want Rather It Be My Belly Button or My Cartlige On The Top Of My Ear.My Question Is Which One Hurts more, Ear Or The Belly Button ?

cartilage hurts like a b****, my belly button did not hurt as much as getting my cartilage done. but everybody different with pain some thinks it hurts and some don't, but i say belly button and there so much prettier and belly button piercings are not for hookers! don't listen to her! i had my belly button done when i was 14 years old and it still looks fine and i am not a hooker. get your belly button....good luck

The belly button will grant you months of pain. You'll have to treat it as a wound, and put some product on it every night. Problems to have shower, you can not touch it at all... And you are still young. There is plenty of time for the belly button.
On teh other hand the top of the ear will allow you to use different ear rings, it is more fashionable and you can show it without having to be cold in your tummy and back.
And to avoid infections with hair? Easy. Cut your hair very short after it. You will then look very cool, and then let it grow later.
I do not know which hearts the most, but I would defiitelly go for the top ear.

You should wait a while if you want to get your navel pierced, generally, girls around your age have a wee bit more growing to do and that growth can cause issues with some body piercings (the skin can stretch and assist in rejection of piercings). I think you should get the upper cartilage, a.k.a. helix piercing for now.

As with all piercings, you feel something. However, the cartilage is very thick and hard tissue, so obviously, this is going to hurt more than a simple lip of skin near your navel with very few nerves. Keep in mind more of the pain comes from the area being sore afterward. You will have to take GOOD care of it to make sure you don't wind up with an infection because that's when piercings become truly painful

I have 26 piercings and I can tell you that based on myself and many others, the cartilage will hurt more, but the navel is more likely to give you issues healing and in general.

They both hurt equally.
Both of them are subjected to infection.
With the ear you are even more prone to infection. You hair getting caught etc.
The belly button can get infection but not quite as often as the ear
The thinner you are the smaller the ring the put on your belly button. At 13 your are still developing there are not many 13 year old who keep the same weight. This will effect the look of your bellybutton ring. As when you get old and decide to have a family you would have to have the ring removed. Then have to get it pierced

hey ok i have my ears pierced 5 time 2 up the top 2 at the bottom n 1 in d middle of ma ear. Im getting my belly button pierced next thursday but wot i have herd it hurts more gettin ur belly dun but it also hurts getting the top of your ear dun. but not as much as belly they use a gun to pierce the top of your ear as with your belly they use a needle. But itll look good in the long run. Take care

its up to you but I have had my ear pierced at the top catlige it doesn't hurt too much i just took an anti-inflamoray to help with the pain and swelling afterwards, it did get infected so my best recommendation is talk to a licenced piercer about cleanliness and the correct rings to put in, either way its just up to you (personally I absolutly love my ear piercing now it's healed and has a cute gold ring in it but once again do it for yourself, good luck!

The bellybutton is more painful during the peircing because they use a larger needle rather than a gun. Although cartilige peircings take longer to heal and the pain lasts longer.

*The bellybutton will create scar tissue, so when you take it out someday it will never fully go back to normal. Also, someday when you have a child the pierced tissue will stretch and might not return to its orginal position.

I would get my ear pierced. A friend of mine had an infection in her belly button when she got it pierced. She was in a lot of pain.

well i never got either of them pierced but i kno tons of people with their cartilage pierced and a few with their belly button

most people say the cartilage doesnt hur that much...it might hurt more than regular ear piercings but definately less than belly button because i know someone who almost fainted when she got that pierced

i personally like the cartilage more....

I personally like belly button. I guess more pain will be peircing the ear.
