Personally, I'm rooting for Captain America(which he'll probably win).

Political statement aside & the fact Marvel is doing this to make a buck of ignorant fanboys(like myself), this is a far better storyline than some of the ones Marvel has pulled in the past.

Marvel Secret Wars 1 & 2.
Act of Vengenance.
Xtinction Agenda.
Inferno.
Atlantis Attacks.
The Spider Clone Saga.

Don't even get me started on DC!

If it's nothing more than a thinly veiled political statement to you and that pisses you off, then don't buy it.

If you see it as Marvel making a buck, then don't buy it.

No Contest, Cap will win. The whole thing is a political statement, which is why I don't purchace any of it, and considering the political leanings I've seen, Cap winning is the only possible outcome

Given the current President I'd bet that Capt. America won't win, but the ever arrogant Iron-Man will. Which of course may cost them some of their fan base.

I agree somewhat with CDF-ROM. We all know what political sides comic book writers usually lean and with that knowledge, it's kind of obvious which side will come out on top. I agree more with Iron Man's side. He only wants to hold the superheroes accountable. Besides, by registering, they don't even have to reveal their secret identities. Plus they'd still retain a large degree of autonomy. The only they they'd have to do is register their name and their activities with the government.

It's funny how all the most popular superheroes are now on the anti-registration side while lesser known heroes are with the pro-registration. I may not agree with the rather obvious outcome of Civil War... but it's obvious that's what the writers want.

I am no longer reading the series.

Since I realized the writers are so lazy they are just recycling the news headlines in a slightly disguised form, and trying to push their political views on us concerning terrorism and illegal immigration, I am fed up and disgusted with them all.

This is political indoctrination they are trying to do to us, people!

They are trying to manipulate us into going along with their storyline, trying to side with the fictional character we are most emotionally involved with, instead of acting rationally to protect our country!

I think that the writers or whoever pays them DOESN'T CARE whether America is invaded by jobless wefare-vampires or whether we are all intimidated by suicide bombers into wearing burkahs.

Please don't listen to them.

UNTIL CIVIL WAR ENDS, STOP BUYING MARVEL.

Iron man would defeat Captain A but will eventually loose as he persuit the infinity gems. My guess is that Adam Warlock would be the saviour for Capt A side.
