As far as I've read and studied the sperm should be waiting for the egg to be released so the intercourse should be a day or two before ovulation. But it is also true that the egg can stay alive for about 24 hours so if you ovulate today and have sex tommorrow then there still is chance for you to get pregnant. i.e. if you don't have any other problems. But its always better to have sex everyday from 2 days prior to ovulation to one day after ovulation because the sperm can live upto 3 days whereas the egg has very little life. I don't think day after tommorrow will be good if you want to get pregnant.

Anyway there's a survey that more pregnancies occur during the winter so good luck. I got pregnant this time last winter and now I have a 4 month old baby girl

the usual is you will ovulate during the 11-14 days of your monthly cycle. so if you have sex from the 10 to the 15th day it is a good chance you can get preg. generally good for 24 hrs and the sperm for 48hrs.
