It is spelt Nephilim, and no there is not. There is evidence that the places mentioned in the bible were smaller and much less important than it says in the bible though.

Neanderthals come the closest, in the right area, and at the same time as 'virtually' modern man. They were bigger.

There is ABSOLUTELY no evidence. Giants are mythical beings, and the Biblical references are just the same - fiction.
