12 small fresh water fish ,15 gallon tank and flake food. I know that you don't give them any more than they can eat in two minutes but how many times a day

once a day.don't forget they poke at the bottom a lot too. and food that's droped they eat don't do what that person said 3 times they will die.

Not much more than once a day. If you over feed them than it could pose a problem. I dont feed mine more than 4 times a week and they have been doing fine for about 4-5 years now.

I say twice daily but my husband thinks once daily is better. We have 6 chiclids and he feeds them once daily. No matter how many times you feed them daily, it is good to get them in a routine of eating.. so feed them at the same time everyday.

I feed my fish twice a day, but only a small amount at each feeding.

I feed once a day. And if they eat a LOT on one day I don't feed the day after. They just don't need it.

ONCE a DAY. if they eat too much, they can die. Mr. Rogers only fed his fish once a day..remember?
