I would venture a guess that there are about 2000 feathers per ounce, giving a figure of about 32,000 feathers in 1 lb.
If this estimate is correct, that would mean about 64 million feathers in a ton. Why do you ask?

Depends on the type of bird the feather came from, and if it is a metric ton, short ton or long ton

Since the question does not include they type off feather, and since feathers are not uniform anyway, you would need to average the weight of all feathers to have a standard to work from.

In other words........a ton is a ton is a ton no matter what the object is. A ton of feathers would take up more space than a ton of bricks.
