I'd really like to see a romance novel where the guy is a hot chef!

One of the great romantic themes is love frustrated by warring families. Think of Romeo and Juliet and bring it up to the present. There's bound to be a novel or two based in the Iraq war. You could write about either a two Iraqis whose families come from different factions or about an American soldier and an Iraqi girl.

I have 2 ideas from experience: Best friends who fall in love and younger man (<25) with an older woman (>35). Another might be young summer lovers who meet years later and re-kindle the affair. Since it is fiction good-looking and confident are traits that might appeal to readers.

It could be where the girl has a tough life at home and she has some interest in modeling just for the sake of making money and running away. Shes in high school, 17 year old (she lives in a small town) Then her older guy friend who she used to go to high school with until he went to moved to LA (his dad is in show biz) tries to convince her not to move away from home to model. that the modeling/ entertainment industries are tough and they ruin you. Then since its impossible to convince her, he offers her to come and stay with him in his condo(his dad lives in a mansion)He hooks her up with some high scale modeling gigs. They live like roommates, even when she's moderately rich they have too much fun for her to move out. she gets famous, dates a superstar, and goes through ****, treats people like ****, and he there for her always because he understands her and loves her but doesn't know it. But finally they realize they love each other. The end. Is it good? :) thumbs up if it is!

I think you should write about a down and out man trying to make it in Los Angeles... since Los Angeles is so artificial he was always turned down by the ladies due to his lack of wealth and power. Once he became the CEO of a megacorporation he would tease and use the gold digging women that once spurned him, until one woman finally convinced him that she loved him for his inner beauty.
