With Zaheer Khan, Munaf Patel, Sree Sant, Agarkar and Pathan around, I do not think Balaji should be brought back as he has not proved himself as consistent.

he is the best fast bowler in India. God only knows what the selectors are going to do with him. He can bowl equally well in ODIs and Tests, a quality none of the fast bowlers in the team posess. in a nothing pitch, when pakistan toured India, he got 9 wickets in the test and won it for India. dont remember anybody doing it in the recent past.....

I strongly feel that Ganguly may be selected in the test team for the test series against South Africa and if he performs well in the test matches, he may be considered for the forthcoming one day series against Sri Lanka and West Indies. In case he is not included in the Indian Test Team, his only chance to come back in the Indian Team is through exceptional performance in the Ranji Trophy matches.
