Is it a factory alarm or an aftermarket system ?
Try unplugging the horns if thats what is blasting or disconnect the system.
Your may need a new battery for your remote.
ALSO if you raise the rear of the car, that will reset the alarm to ''stand by mode'' (tow trucks deactivate systems this way)

If you're looking for a reason to get it to stop, perhaps just to get it towed to a maintenance facility, you can unplug the battery or remove the corresponding fuse. On older model cars the fuse box is inside the car on the driver's side near the brake assembly. On newer cars the fuse box is located under the hood, usually near the air filter. The fuse box cover should let you know which fuses pertain to specific functions.

Hope that helps...

Depends on the type of car and if it is a factory setup. You didn't metion a model, but many have to be reset if there is a problem. This is done via a reset switch and the remote.

Search the web for discussion forums on your model of car and ask in there. There seems to be one for every make on the road.
