I assume you re referring to the native north American peoples,they are impoverished due to my ancestors the euro/whites who raped their women,stole their land,and murdered their people,and have held them in captivity within the indian concentration camps.
The great and proud peoples of the many bands deserve better.

Advent of Europeans in the past took away educational facilities from most of the Indians and the future generations faced the problem and now many are uneducated and hence no jobs and hence poverty

Not only Indians are poor. Many countries as well.
But the reason for poverty all boils down to the fact that man cannot rule himself alone. He needs God.
“man has dominated man to his injury.”—Ecclesiastes 8:9.
Human governments are just imperfect to provide what the people need, only God as the same time as it was for Adam before he sinned has given him all he needs.

Indian's are heavy drinkers. It is dangerous to drive near their reservation. They care very much about saving their culture, so much so that I think it is holding them back. Those that come out in to the world do very well. They are beautiful people and they need to pursue the betterment of their society.

probably has something to do with "white man" coming in taking away their land, their natural resources, promising them things, and then not following through on them and then as a final straw taking away any land they happened to live on and making them all live on ugly, unproductive small tracts of land.
Geez I wonder why Native people would be resentful towards government and white men.

they spend their money buying expensive multiple goddess statue?
expensive education? -- main reason i guess
poor family planning?
unstable climate in south india?
poor hygiene that create bad aura in their living?
love to preserve antique items from lorries-bicycles-taxi-till pot and pan? phew how would the businessman be able to sell the next lorry/ pot? we have to keep the money rolling among nation and it has only been circulating among the rich ones...
