I slid on some dry ice in my truck and hit the wall on the side of the highway. There is no damage to the body of the car, but one of the front wheels is at an angle now. It is not drivable. It definately looks like metal is bent somewhere back there. I hit the wall so hard that the threads on the bolts on the tire are pulled out on a few of them and they won't screw back on all the way. Its just all bent and messed up. Since it looks like a "frame" problem, how much do things liek this usually cost to fix?

You may be lucky and the frame is not bent. The wheel bolts are held by the brake disc (rotor). a pair of these might be 30 dollars. Dollars? I assume you are American because you spelled tire and not tyre (British spelling).
The brake disk is attached to the "steering knuckle". this holds 5 things together: Shock absorber, brake disc, front wheel? drive shaft end, torsion bar and lower ball joint arm (maybe an upper arm).
After you get a FREE estimate from a local mechanic who is kind enough to see your car on the street (with a male friend present; the price is always lower when males are involved!), talk to a junkyard about buying the complete knuckle and related items. Then call your mechanic back and ask him to install it all for you.
In his way you will have the lowest price... do not buy NEW PARTS (except for 2 new brake discs).
With my experience, I think $175 for all parts I mentioned, plus 2 hours of labor. See if you can get it towed to the garage for free, with your nice smile and a "please".
Good luck, Trevor.

More than likely there is not a frame problem, but an axle problem. It also may just be a tie rod problem as well, which would be your most inexpensive trip to the garage. If you don't fix this soon though you will create more problems that will cost outrageous sums....which you obviously do not want. Two tricks for you: one, go to an office park, find a patch of ice and slide on it into a curb....go inside and tell them that their driveways are dangerous and you just had an accident.....more often than not they'll just pay for it in hopes you won't start talking about being physically hurt. Two, you can take your vehicle to a community college or high school where they will work on it for free.....for their classes. good luck, Jack

Its probably a control arm, more than likely. Depending on what kind of car you drive, probably a few hundred bucks. Plus maybe another 50 to get new studs pressed in.
