The Harry Potter books rocks but the Harry Potter movies are crapp

Not enough! I am currently reading the 5th book (Order of the Phoenix) for my 8th time! Great books never get old!

I have read the series in a row about 3 times, but I like to go out of order to find hints and clues to what the last book has in store.

taking your question really literally....

I have read the whole series, books 1-6, in order, start to finish, once since the book six release. I also re-read books 1-5, in order, straight through once leading up to the release of book 6.

if the question is how many times have I read each book - I dunno. like Ally I tend to re-read favorite parts or read the whole book in bits and pieces. There's an old book "roller skates" by ruth sawyer and the girl has two books (one being "at the back of the north wind" by george mcdonald) that she keeps by her bed and just picks up and opens at random pages to get swept up in whatever's happening in her favorite book/world at the moment. I'm like that with the HP series.

I'd estimate probably 7-10x each for 4, 5, maybe 3-4 times for 6, and at least 20x each for 1-3 (they are shorter.)

I don't know. I discovered them in 2001 and I think I've read them once a year each since so probably:
1-4 5 times each
5 4 time
6 twice.

Have read all 6 of them. Loved them all. Interesting to see how the producers use all of Rowling's writings in their version during the movies. Have seen the new adverts for the next installment and Harry gets his first on-screen kiss...woo hoo!

I don't know if you're doing a survey here, and here's my answer. I've never once read any of the series. Why? It's not my cup of tea. Please do not take offense. I just want to answer this question honestly.

At least three times each. But certain parts are read over and over again!
