Then what is the problem with the Holocaust? Why do people continue to ask when it is a fact, that all of what is written by testimony from American,British,French,Polish,Czechs,South Americans,Canadians,Japanese,German(Nuremburg Testimonies in the Tribunals) and Russians,Romanians,Hungarians,Austrians(they had Hitler in their jail for trying to start that there, he spent 4 years in prison) etc. Why not just accept that it is true and move on and don't let it happen to anyone again, if we can help it. That should be all our motto's right? This is the History section is it not? How many accounts in history does there have to be before people stop repeating themselves, and move on? Either look it up and accept the truth from many, or forget it because questioning it is not going to bring doubt to the factual evidence. Denial is a disease.

Ridiculous conspiracies aside, I think some people are concerned that the Holocaust has been exaggerated/is being exploited for political reasons and feel the need to ask questions, which is only healthy. It's better to get things out in the open, discussed and settled than people habouring away possible anti-semitic feelings.

It's very much like the aggression towards asylum seekers. People feel that it is not politically correct to discuss asylum seekers publically in fear of being branded racist. Instead, they talk among their family and friends- and of course, that's when the real 'clan-style' prejudice emerges.

Prejudice and hate will only be eradicated if people come together to discuss these issues sensibly- rather than telling people what they can or can't think.

First... I never heard this...
"The Truth Will Set us All Free"

Who said that?
And whose truth will it be?
It is not convenient for many people to hear the truth.

Regarding the holocaust...
I have met some of those survivors in Australia, and I have no reason to doubt them.

I think those people who are today questionning the holocaust, are doing so as a reaction to discredit Israel and gain support for Palestine. It is a con job... and only those who don't know their history would buy it.

In any case, the jews did not get Israel because of the holocaust. That process started some 40 years before. Again, read your history. It does not take that long to read. Pop in your CD with wathever encyclopedia you are using, and its is all there in black and white.

I have worked for many jews in my life and I can tell you that they are some of the nicest people to deal with. I heard all the rumors about them being scrooges, bad payers, difficult to deal with... but I never did experience any of these.
One thing I have learned however... is that they will treat you in the same manner as you are treating them. Don't try to doublecross a jew or he will have you for breakfast.

It is so disturbing, isn't it? 8 million are killed and people want to pretend that it never happened? It's a huge insult to the families of the victims.
