Harry Potter Will die but the 7th book will be the best

I would say no. I predicted the death of Dumbledore by book two since I realised that the story was following the hero cycle. In the hero cycle the teacher must die in order for the student to surpass them. For other examples of this just think of Luke in star wars. Joseph Campbell is the one who came up with the idea of the hero cycle. He looked through old folks tales and myths and found the common steps that most heroes faced. Since the hero does not die in the hero cycle I would wager that Harry will not die. For more info about the hero cycle see the wiki page I linked.

I wouldn't be surprised. It is certainly not unheard of! Killing him off would just seal the copyright she has so no one can have another sequel!! It's a smart idea really, but many fans will be disappointed. Me, not so much, I mean he would die eventually. I would cry though, not as much as I did for Dumbledore or Sirius. :)

I really hope he doesn't die though. I think that Neville and Voldemort will die. Neville is developing great wizarding powers, we have already seen. He will help Harry defeat Voldemort with the others, and he will actually kill Voldemort. Neville will die of wounds. So Neville and Voldemort are the ones who die.

I think so. That way Harry doesn't have to get "hitched" and Rowling doesn't have to put up with all the lame fans who think they can write as well as she can putting out ad-hoc sequels to the 7th book.

Not because it will upset all the little children (and a fair few adults besides). I remember when Take That split up there was this girl, no one told her because they thought she might kill herself (presumably she's worked it out now though) J. K. Rowling surely doesn't want to be a killer?

JK said there might be a possibility that he wont die, in the 7th but his friends might die.

I personally think that it will be a make of it what you will ending. For example 'harries eyes fell closed and all he saw was darkness' that way he could be dead but maybe not.

It makes an exciting ending, don't you think? I think he will. There are always equal forces of good and evil. If Voldemort dies so must Harry.

possibly: i think she is definitely daring enough to kill off her main character, but only at a great price and not just for the sake of closure. if harry dies, it will only be after killing voldemort and defeating the death eaters. what do you think? can't wait to find out what will happen!
