Same thing happened to a guy here. He worked at Budweiser and was caught at a bar drinking a coors. The next day or a few days after, he was fired by Budweiser for not supporting their beverage. He subsequently sued Budweiser and won. Kind of stupid if you ask me. People should be able to consume whatever they wish, even if they work for a particular company.

This is why people don't want to do these mcjobs - all work has dignity, until the corporations start making inane rules that just waste your time and energy. When I had a job in HS at Roy Rogers (do they still exist?) I was happy to work, but I used to get really annoyed that I was supposed to "look busy" at all times, even if that meant wiping the counter with a really grotesque filthy rag for hours, spreading who knows what kind of germs around for no good reason at all.

So see, I'm getting worked up after all these years still! You are a great guy in that you just think it's funny, not infuriating. Me, I say grrrrr.

Dr. Pepper is not owned by Pepsi. It may be distributed by your local Pepsi bottling plant. However in other parts of the country, it is bottled by otherss. In Green Bay, it is bottled by the 7 up plant.

Dr. Pepper is not owned by either coke or pepsi. It's an independant label that can be sold as either.

I worked for Waffle House. We had the same issue with our upper management. But our store manager is a Pepsi fan, so she let it fly.

<>Try working at Starbucks. Word has it they make you sign a contract not to drink any other commercial coffee (Dunkin' Donuts, etc.).
