There are no herbal remedies that effectively manage this condition. Your dog needs to be on Solaxil (I think that's how it's spelled) for this. You need a prescription for it from the vet. There are, however, some herbal therapies that might benefit your dog in terms of keeping its immune system as strong as it can be, such as MSM and chondroitan (again, not sure that's the right spelling). Some dogs with hypo tend to develop hot spots, so be on the lookout for those and have them treated immediately. Also, you will need to carefully monitor your dog's weight.
