No. Constipation will not make you miscarry.
Constipation rules of thumb:
1.It's better to use some force to have a BM, than hold it in for fear of straining. If you don't try to continue to have a BM regularly, your bowel muscles will actually weaken, increasing constipation.
2. Drink as much water as you can, and drink some more. Baby needs you to drink water & stay really hydrated, to help with their growth process. Also, it helps keep your digestive system running (digestive systems tend to slow down in pregnancy). Pregnant with twins, I bought one of those 32 oz bottles, fill it up with water twice a day. And probably drink more than that. Otherwise, drink at least a tall glass of water every hour.
3. If you're not having morning sickness, keep eating the roughage. Spinach, apples, good salad greens. Eat whole grain instead of white bread. This will help increase your fiber intake.
4. Exercise is a good way to decrease chance of constipation. Light walking or swimming is ok for pregnancy, unless an OB says not to.
5. When all else fails and you're still totally constipated to the point where you think it's as bad as labor...take a Dulcolax suppository. Fast acting - usually works within 15 minutes. Side effects may be diarrhea, and can also be habit-forming if used too often, and you may feel like you're in labor when you finally pass the BM, so don't take unless you really really have to.

I had that with my first pregnancy and it only got worse towards the end. My advice would be to eat whatever helps push it along. Since you are prone to having constipation then ask your doctor to recommend a fiber tablet or juice mix (metamucil etc) for you to take that will keep you regular. Peaches, prunes, and a lot of fruit juices can naturally help out too. But remember that if all else fails don't let yourself suffer with it. Tell your doctor because it is really not good to strain yourself (that causes fissures/tearing and hemmhoroids).
No it doesn't hurt the baby at all. Only makes you miserably uncomfortable.

Constipation became between the only being pregnant indicators I had with my 1st being pregnant and it became terrible! I took stool softeners for the era of my being pregnant and my toddler grew to become out effective. i'm at present 6 a million/2 weeks pregnant and constipated lower back. Please eat more fiber and drink more water. Put some lemon or lime juice in the water if it doesn't taste good to you. there are whole wheat fig newtons now. They are sweet and have lots of fiber. Eat lots of fruits if you can. They have minerals and vitamins and fiber. If these suggestions don't help, talk to your doctor. If they do help tell your doctor what you've done, it may help someone else.
Here is a list of fiber content of foods:

I had and still have the same problem I asked my obgyn and he told me it doesn't affect the baby in anyway. It can bother you drink some milk of magnesia or warm milk. It can cause hemroids and they hurt worst than anything you could ever imagine.

This is normal. Drink more water and eat more high in fiber foods. Can cause hemorrhoids.
