How do you know if anything is right? Most of the time you ask questions and you do research and based on what you've learned, you either choose the religion you were raised on or you choose another path. It's okay to choose for your self. Ask your self does it speak to me, am I drawn to it, and why am I drawn to it?

All religious belief is subjective, which means that there isn't, and never will be, on 'right' religion. Different religions have different views and to some extent all think that they are better than the others or have something to offer that others cannot offer. Whether you have been brought up in Iran believing in Zoroastrianism or born in Israel as an orthodox Jew or born in Saudi Arabia as a Wahhabi Muslim, no religion is more right than any other, all just have different paths to essentially the same thing. For Buddhists it is enlightenment, for Christians and Jews its Heaven and Muslims it is paradise. No matter which religion you believe in, they all essentially take you to the same place, they just take different paths to get there.
Never let anybody tell you that the religion you believe in is wrong, because it is just plain incorrect.

If I was in a society that pounded me with one religion all my life growing up I would think if I met someone from a different religion...granted that I had knowledge of different religions...which if I was taught growing up were evil...yes I would believe that my religion is the only right one and that every one elses views are skewed and wrong totally 100%----I think if you are in a society like this I think that there are some leaders who want nothing but control....and probably do it by fear.
If you grew up in an open society I think you may have a tendency to view a certain relgion...particularly as your own as the right religion of choice...however if your convictions of faith are so strong you may think everyone else's religion is wrong.
This is what I think....I am a Christian...not a strong church going type but a Christian I think different religions are good to look at an we can learn alot from each other through this type of tolerance.
All-in-all no one is totally right or wrong...I just think its a sad place when we cannot look at each other without suspicion or hate...which in itself seems to be the main religion spreading now.
Peace to everyone....Christian, Muslim, Bhuddists, Jewish, and all others.

If your family raised you in the religion of the family history, but you grew up to learn about other religions- you might find one that you more closely identify with and change your form of worship. You might stick with the one you were raised with. Either way, you must realize that there are other schools of thought around the world and they must be respected. Who is to say that one is better than the other. Don't they all preach that one should be good, honest, respectful, etc.? If people really acted as the religions preach, there would be world peace!

Okay. I do not know where you are from.. but here is the deal. BELIEVE in what YOU want to believe in. follow your heart. Also don't believe a certain way JUST because your parents do. research... make your OWN opinions!! I was raised Christian, turned Pagan and now I am looking into the Muslim Religion... Have an open mind!! don't let someone else tell you what to believe! NO! Believe in what you feel is right!!! It is not for others to judge us. Have your own opinions and beliefs and be Proud of them!! Good luck!!!

I can't tell you how much I dwelled on the same issue for years (it's a relief to know someone thinks the same) and here is what many people of religion (all three of them) told me:
You will only be measured (and sent to a good or bad place) based on what you know! if for example religion X is what you were raised on, and everyone around you is telling you that this is the way to go, and you were faithful to that religion, then you will be measured against that.
BUT
It is YOUR responsibility to investigate and search for the correct methodology by all means possible, and then follow the right path.
Hope this helps!

The religious war has only been around for 2,000 give or take some years. It will continue to be a dispute because no one wants to come to an agreement. The fact here, man, is that everyone DOES have their personal beliefs. From what I know, the only ones trying to increase their personal popularity are the Mormons, Jehova's Witnesses, and the Christians. If you have never noticed before, there are stories of religious people coming knocking on your door at 4 in the morning. They want to recruit as many people as they can for reasons unknown to me.

Who ever you are, since everybody are God`s creations, there is always some connections, special relationship between The Almighty Father and you. Do you know He provides "holy" spirits to everyone?
Wherever you were born, even if exposed to the weirdest of cult, religions, customs and practices...you will eventually find God and the true way back to God. He has the special mark in each of us...the spirit, heart, conscience, feeling and intuition/6th sense...+ miracles... if deemed necessary for Him to retrieve you immediately, He will reveal Himself fast to you.
If you are searching and listening well your spiritual realm...and willing to accept the instinct of the Creator`s signs and willing to recognize it and enjoy His presence...then you will have Him until eternity.
Then you will realize...you are different from anybody else in your region, and follow your instinct because it is always right.
How do you know you are in Gods pathway???
Simply, if your doings daily adhere with the Holy Spirit`s gifts: Love, peace, joy, harmony among everyone...if you are full of wisdom, knowledge, counsel, fear, fortitude, piety, understanding of God...if you have LOVE God above all things...and you love your neighbor as yourself.....well, no MISTAKE...you are with GOD.
If you have a hard time finding true religion/worships...then ask the Holy Spirit`s guidance to tell you what to do and how to be with God...and hop on dearie! because He will bring you to where you should belong...Trust me!!!

God is not going to require something of you that you are unable to achieve. He will not place you in a circumstance where He can't be found. Maybe it's more difficult for some than others because of their surroundings or environment but He will never make it impossible. Even the Native Americans who knew of no organized religion knew there was a God and worshiped Him. They were in tune enough with their own souls and with all nature around them to realize that they were fearfully and wonderfully made by a being greater than themselves and they worshiped Him. Seek Him and you WILL find Him.
