Yamaha RD350 is the lion of all the bikes manufactured till now in India. It was originally manufactured by Rajdoot Motorcycles in the early 80's with all raw power and looks that even today no other punny bikes can stand. It ruled the speed and roads of our great country once upon a time which no other bike has ever replaced it so far to my knowledge. Hello brothers in Rajdoot Company, are you all going through this?. Please help me out yyaarrr!!!!!

Install the points and static time them to the fire mark on the flywheel.

I got that bike when it first came out in 73. It was faster than the Kawasakis and handled about ten times as good. The race version didn't go against other 350s at Daytona. It raced 750 class and won.
But, these guys are right. You need to fork over the cash for a manual and do that job right. Dwell and timing forgive no man.

I think you are getting carried away, raw power? it was a good bike, handled well,I raced one in the production class, I t was a tad faster than the Kawasaki 350 triple. To try and explain how to replace the points would take too long but it can be done in a matter of minutes, buy a manual.

Buy a shop manual. Pay $35 and you'll have the directions right in front of you on how to fix anything on your bike.
