I don't mind a little cursing...I curse myself! but there's a big difference between a little cursing and over-doing it. I've met some people who use a curse word (especially the f-bomb) in almost every sentence as if it were and adjective or something...when it has no place or reason to be there. they aren't angry, they just talk like that all the time....THAT is what's offensive. and it's not humorous, either. I still see stand up comics who get cheap laughs by cursing....and yet there are plenty who are hilarious without cursing at all (or very little).
I guess it's all in how you're brought up.

I have a friend (woman) that curses like a sailor, it sounds bad. As far as men cursing in front of me, it seems like after I had kids is when it started bothering me. I am a different person now, I'm a mom I'm over 30 and most people call me ma'am now so I guess it is just out of respect. I find it very respectful when men watch their mouths around women.
My husband doesn't curse around women and he hates it when women curse, sounds terrible.

Stop doing that. Cursing is just unattractive. I don't want it when guys or even girls do it in front of me. It's irrittating especially when said repeatedly as in an expression. However, once in a great while is okay. I'd probably just let it pass unless the person talking is cursing me.

In the good old-fashioned days of courtesy towards women, it was considered extremely rude and chauvenist. Classy guys will try to watch their mouth in front of the ladies.

I don't like it, I find it offensive. I don't curse around my daughter and I'm offended when others do. Especially the bad ones, using the lords name in vain, the F word, C word etc.
It's especially unbecoming for a woman to do it.
Words like $h!t aren't bad, but I still would appreciate it if people wouldn't do that around children, it's called COMMON COURTESY and RESPECT!

Cursing in front of me does not bother me, they are just words, I don't understand what the big deal is. She should just get over herself.

A Lady does not like to hear cursing. We think you guys should respect us enough to clean up your mouths.
Cursing only belittles you in our eyes.
