I had implantation bleeding with my first pregnancy. It was a bright red spot. And I mean literally a SPOT and nothing more. If it is brownish then it is most likely not. Stress can cause spotting and also being late or having an irregular cycle. Before I first got pregnant I had irregular spotting that was brownish. A couple of times it happened to me when I did too much physical exercise/heavy lifting during my period and it would disrupt my cycle. If you are ttc then I would let your doctor know about that and perhaps it will be an indication for them to run some tests to investigate it. In my case I had a hormonal imbalance and was not ovulating due to low LH. Check it out it really could be a red flag...

implantation bleeding which i had with my 2nd child happens two weeks after conception or right around when your period was due. its a very light type of spotting some times so little that its just pink when you wipe, although mine was a bit heavier i had to wear a pantyliner for 2 days but there is a small amount of cramping in the lower abdoman kinda in the middle which is the baby settling in the womb, i did not have this both my pregnancies though. if you have any thought that you may be pregnant you should discontinue you bcp and take a test if it has been at least 2-3 weeks since the sex incedent a hpt would be able to tell for sure. if you are preg congrats!

It could be implantation bleeding but it could also be the start of your next menstrual cycle.

no, I don't think you can tell with the color of the discharge because I've never had a baby or been pregnant before but sometimes the discharge is brown and I've not been having sex or anything, it just means my period is here!

Sorry, not familiar with that. check webmd.com and see if you can find your symptoms, but if you're worried see a doctor reguardless of what people say on here.
