Is it just me? Are other parents on here freakin' out over the teenage sex going on in this world today? I have seen so many questions about sex and teens, why do you young ppl wanna have sex and you don't even know about your own body yet?And why isn't someone talking to you about self love and self respect? If you don't think you can wait,ok, then what about condoms to protect you from diseases, or other birth control to prevent you from having a baby you don't want, or a baby your parents don't wanna raise? For both sides guys lie to get what they want(sex), girls lie too for love they are trying to find from stupid guys. What is going to happen when you get pregnant?,THE guy will walk. And the teenagers don't think about premature babies that die every year becuase young woman's bodies are not ready for carrying a baby. IF YOU can't talk to your parents, get the correct sex education from books, internet, etc.,,,,,,,BUT first of all love your self first,You are the only one that will!

I'm not insulting the teenagers. If your not taught something is wrong then you don't know. All I'm saying is Parents to take more responsibilty for raising and teaching thier kids the right path. And the ?,(mary was a virgin),true and not alot of teens can say that. God also 'gave' her,her baby he didn't have sex with her.

AMEN i think that in todays world most parents are so busy trying to relive their teen life that they are not telling kids about the danger there is in having unprotected sex and to most parents are trying to be thir kids friend instead of being the parents it is so true i just went to a funeral didnt know the young girl but i went to show support to my pastor and family the baby died on the 6th and the mother died on the 11th never had i seen a baby & youg mother in a casket together and when i tell you super sad OMG on top of that the girl leaves behind 2 younger kids for her mother to raise i dont understand but i know that every teen is in my prayers

Second that.

Obviously they have internet access to be on yahoo. I recommend google, type in pregnancy symptoms, condom/birth control facts and places to go to in medical/information and other forms of help.

Those who come here asking for information that can easily seek in less than 20 seconds, should not be doing anything until they are thinking.

I was a teen and I was able to use the internet, read books and ask personal questions to my strict opinionated mother who's views are different than mine sometimes.

Sadly, I do blame our government, our schools and our parent's lack of involvement in sex and body reproduction growth/development.

Government, Bush, is about abstain.

Schools are limited due to that.

I have came in contact with parents who beliefs are majorly influenced by religion or felt it is a topic to not be discussed period....

I think that this answer/ask is a good thing to see other's views and opinion's.

however, it should not be a source for medical usage as thinking everyone on here has a PhD or is "applicatable" for correct advice giving.

"Am I pregnant" and "What are the chances" are extremly common questions that annoy me most. No one can see in their uterus and no one can give 100% accuracy is risk taking. Too many things factor in it. To see this question asked over and over, also gives me the hint that the question/answers are being ignored. No need to re ask the question when can scroll a page or two and find it already.

I am also annoyed by those who do before they think. When horny, don't have birth control nor condoms, but still engage in sex, then they start to freak out about reality of pregnancy and std's etc. It should be them discussing this and preparing before sex. Not after.

Thats a toughy. I was a teen mother, i had my daughter at 17 and i really wish i could have waited till i found the right man 2 be with but thats how life goes. My daughter is a happ, healthy, outgoing lil girl so thats all that matters. I think teens should wait till their with the right person to have children with and finished with school first cause their alot of responsibilty and hard work in todays community.

that's what I kept saying in this one teen forum, but they all ganged up on me and banned me from going back. :-( Anyway, yeah I agree with this, but surprisingly some teens are "mature". I don't know how they do it, but I think teens these days have to grow up earlier for some reason.
