Premise for this question is I am beginning to wear kilts and other nonpants items as casual attire, and my biggest personal issue is one of modesty. Sometimes I'll be out on a particularly windy day and quite frankly I am afraid of the thing flying up... NOBODY wants to see that! So I think this would be the equivilent 'thing'.

Yes, I am a guy wearing kilts and kimonos on a casual basis. Once my wardrobe is complete I shall never again don a pair of pants on my own time.

This case really depends upon a certain situation or place. consider the people that surrounds you. But that get-up sounds cool. . Here in the Philippines there are also guys who wears skirts and kimonos. That's a unique clothing attitude. Good luck!
