So far, Cry no more by Linda Howard. A very touching story of a mother long search for her kidnapped baby boy, and what she had done after she had found him (for the best of his interest).

My vote is to "A Suitable Boy" by Vikram Seth I enjoyed early this year, it has enlightened me to learn and understand more on the Indian culture especially on the affairs of the bride-to-be and the mother's role.

"The Lies of Locke Lamora" by Scott Lynch.
Excellent book, though the language (trust me, really really bad cussing everywhere) got to me a bit. (Yeah, that gets to me, but all the gruesome deaths don't. Odd.) Overall, very good but only for MATURE audiences.
