Sometimes the more you give, the more you get!

I am on that path right now and have given just about all that I am and have. If your spouse just doesn't care anymore about your marriage, you need to make a decision about it and him. You can try and try but sometimes it just isn't there. Don't get me wrong, I am totally against divorce if there is even a smidgen of hope and strength left in the marriage. I look at the commitment that I made more so than the love I had. Love comes and goes over the years, but a commitment is a promise that should go on forever. I will continue to give all that I can each and every day because I still believe we can work through our issues.
On a side note, if there is abuse in the relationship, I wouldn't sacrifice much. I would save all of me to go on and live a different life.

Many years of life. I do not have the marraige I want, I am sure I am not alone in this but it is not terrible either. She is a great mom and a great friend. She just is not interested in being a lover anymore. We have discussed this for many years and this is just the way it is. I wil not break up my family over this and all and all we have a very good life, but I have sacroficed my love life for my marraige.

i would have sacrificed just about anything to save my marriage, pride, asking forgiveness, but if there was adultry going on and it involved your spouse not really caring what he did to u, than i would just move on and save myself any more heartache.one thing is u should never comprimise your belief's or moral's to keep someone. and if your self worth is on the line, i would not give up my self worth to keep someone.

Well I gave up alot to save mine. I gave up my freedom to go wherever I wanted whenever i wanted. I moved 100 miles away from my family who I am very close to. I severred all ties with my friends because they were part of a life that I no longer wanted. I screwed up my marriage so I did whatever it took to repair it. And it was all worth it to be extremely happily married with another addition to our family. I'd do whatever it takes to keep my husband in love with me and me with him. As long as its not illegal of course.

depends on situation, but extreamly worried for all those, who are on the path of sacrifice, as in worst case, one has to sacrifies for all his/her life, to save the marriage,if other spouse doesn't care.

I think that really depends on the situation. If you could maybe add to this and discuss why it needs saved or what it needs saved from....
