Is there a way to make AOL version 9 sign on as invisible?

Now I have to use AOL to connect to the internet and there is alot of people I do not want to talk to and there are some I do. On AIM I used invisible but I dont know how to do that on AOL.

Go to keyword at the top of ur aol tool bar click on go to keyword and type in privacy settings click go, and in box look where it says block all, the last one left side, click in box beside block all then click save at bottom but don't forget to unclick it when u do want to be seen,
