i have an older hp vectra p3 733 mhz 10 gb hd and would like to know what ram it uses or if there is any ram that would fit it and what hard drive to get or if any one has a spair

Another good place for RAM is at http://www.18004memory.com You can run an applet on their site that will tell you how many slots you have, if you have any available, and exactly what RAM you can have as a total, along with prices. For the Hard Drive I would like to recommend either http://www.geeks.com or http://www.pricewatch.com Both are very reputable. Hope this helps
