It is too early to give any prediction as Dhoni has just started his carreer. First he has to cement his place in the Indian Team by performing exceptionally well. Then only he can look for surpassing the record of Gilchrist.

He will soon be replaced by somebody else as a wicketkeeper. His keeping technique sucks. He could continue playing as a pure batsman though.
