Only men can answer this question. No girls. It would be especially nice to hear from men who had this done as an adult.

I was circumcised at age 40, by choice and in response to a suggestion from my (then new) wife, who had had experience of sex with both cut and uncut men before she met me and very much prefers a circumcised partner for a whole range of reasons. The answer to your question is a resounding YES - my orgasm increased in intensity markedly after I got rid of my foreskin and frenulum and most men who have been circumcised as adults will agree with me on this. Also, circumcision enhances comfort, appearance and hygiene, together with making sexual sensation FAR better for both the man and his female partner. Unlike most of the anti-circ posters here, I know what I'm talking about from personal experience. Circumcision should be automatic for all males - there is no downside to it at all.

This is completely untrue. There have actually been studies done by reputable agencies that have all conclusively proven there to be no reduction in sensitivity due to circumcision. Furthermore, as someone who actually was circumcised later in life, I can personally attest to orgasms being much, much more intense and pleasurable without a foreskin. Basically, the myth of lost sensitivity from circumcision is exactly that. A myth.

No it is not true!

Sex for me, including my orgasm, has improved greatly after using a plastic "fake foreskin" for a couple of months. The increased sensitivity in my now protected glans is divine, my orgasms are now electrifing.

I know this doesn't quallify as a multi-million dollar "scientific" study. But to me it proves that circumcision greatly damages sensitivity. Those that say it doesn't are either ignorant or are cold blooded reptiles that feed on circumcision money. Infant/childhood circumcision is child abuse, pure and simple!

in circumcision the prepuce over the glans is removed.the prepuce is sensitive part.sex is not only due to the prepuce but a variety of factors.inputs from brain and senses are important.visual ****** material or simply a thought can arouse a person.erection occurs due to flow of blood into the cavernous sinuses.the prepuce is just a part of sexual system and its absence doesn't decrease pleasure by any means.circumcision done early in life is known to reduce risk of penile cancer.STD transmission is less common to and from circumcised males.

Only if you have a knife fetish, like popibz, some people even get off on castration fantasy. That might be her too.

For anyone else, denervation will not increase anything exept frustration.

popibz how the hell do yo know what it is like to be mutilated? Do you really think a boy is going to be grateful, your stupidity is astounding

Circumcision normally decreases sensitivity. I just read an article on this not long ago...

There's a lot of misinformation about circumcision and parents often are not given all of the facts. It's really an outdated silly thing, in my opinion...

At the site I was reading, it was reported that men that have experienced sex uncut then get circumcised were said to really regret the decision due to the change in sensitivity. (Women also reported that sex with uncut men is better...more tender...they figured the men didn't have to pound into her to "get off" because they were more sensitive.) There are also supposedly many men that are "stretching" the foreskin to get as back to "uncut" as possible.

(It also talked about the extreme mutilations that go on in other countries to both female and male. Female alterations are not rare here in the United States either and create problems for adult women...)

If you're not cut and you're thinking about it, do some research first. You may just decide to stay whole.

Well, when males are cut as adults they can choose how much is cut, and what is cut (and thus keep more of the sensitive foreskin and lose the less sensitive shaft skin--never mind the fact that their penis is now fully grown). Along with that, the foreskin is no longer fused to the glans (so it doesn't have to be torn off as with infants) which greatly minimizes the chances of injury and deformations caused in the area.

Clearly, of course, a male cut from birth and having never experienced a real penis wouldn't know the difference. To those claiming that being desensitized helps you last longer--it actually doesn't. The foreskin has 'sensors' that help men recognize approaching orgasm (and being circ'd certainly hasn't stopped American men from the 'epidemic' of premature ejaculation--never mind the lack of women having vaginal orgasms period with their cut partners--don't hear much of these problems in Europe). That, and with the glans thrusting in and out of the foreskin during sex, it's not constantly stimulated, and thus receives a 'break' which means the high sensitivity of the glans is not a problem.

However, while some men may find it beneficial to be cut as an adult, a good lot of men have found it to be a horrible mistake (which you can read more about in the link below). Either way, fewer than one percent of males ever choose to actually get cut as adults, proving that being intact really isn't a problem to natural males--only the misguided.

*Also, for cut guys, the pleasure tends to be *only* in orgasm, while intact males enjoy the whole ride...

in virtually all of europe almost all men are uncircumcised. women there don't seem to have a problem with it.

women have twice the crevices and twice the secretions of uncut men, but why we don't hear all this crap about GROSS and UNCLEAN and FILTHY and DISEASED when referring to women's genitals?

if circumcision is so effective at preventing STD's, then why do countries with the highest rates of AIDS also have the highest rates of circumcision?

think about it. you cut off 75 percent of the skin with the accompanying nerves, the glans becomes thickened and callused, and your sensitivity is the same? by that logic, you have ten apples, i take away seven, but you still have ten apples. maybe you could set up my checking account that way.
