During May 2006, Juventus were one of four clubs (along with A.C. Milan, ACF Fiorentina, and S.S. Lazio Roma) linked to an Italian match fixing scandal. The scandal centered around Juventus' then general manager; Luciano Moggi, who along with other Italian football federation figures were accused of "slealta`" (dishonest sporting behavior) and "illecito Sportivo"(illegal sports actions). Moggi was accused of trying to "influence" referee assigners in order to have certain referees assigned to Juventus' matches

Scandal related to match-fixing, 4 teams were involved Juventus,Ac Milan,Fiorentino, and Lazio. Only Juventus was demoted to Serie B, they made an example of the grand old lady to prove a point. We'll be back in Serie A next year.

They were relegated to Serie B and 20 points were taken from them because the team was found guilty of match-fixing.

You mean why were they relegated to serie b? they and a few other teams got demoted because their managers were cheating, fixing matches and what not

because Inter boss morati and Milan boss berluskoni have no option how to Juve wining the tittle they set up moggi and Juventus for cheating.but in all that scandal milan was catch and lazio,fiorentina but with berluskoni power and many of morati juve was the victim in all scandal.
