hi
you shiver when you pee because when you pee some of your body heat goes out through the urine, so inorder to compensate for your heat loss, the body shivers.
also it depands on your surrounding room temperature, if room in which you pee is warm or hot your wont shiver. but if you pee outside where the temperature is cold you shiver.

No one knows. But one reason is relieving a very full bladder when you are dying to pee. It upsets the equilibrium of the body. That includes the nervous system. People are even known to pass out when they finally get to go after waiting a long time to empty a bursting bladder.

A lot of people take a long time to start their pee stream after holding their pee too long. "Here I am bursting and not a drop comes out." I have found that a scary situaltion after a long car trip without any rest stops because the driver has a huge bladder. It is difficult to relax the muscles used to hold back your piss for a long time.

I am not talking about the morning erection which also can do that.

Anyway the bladder and the body are inseparable and sensitive.

Shivering during micturition (aka. urination) often occurs in men, but can also sometimes occur in women. It's not completely understood, and most of the knowledge people have of it is based on speculation and not real science. The term is post-micturition convulsion syndrome, and it happens near the end of peeing. It's probably a side effect of interactions between the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems. The sympathetic nervous system is usually responsible for fight-or-flight responses, but in the case of the urinary system, it's responsible for holding the flow of urine. The parasympathetic nervous system is known for "resting and digesting." In the urinary system, it's responsible for releasing urine.

Check the places where you take a leak. It could be that there is something lurking in the shadows that is scaring the piss out of you!

I do it, but only sometimes. And it's only when I'm about to finish. It just feels good, that's all. Good night!
