He did not engage in any terrorist act, he was young then and as any rich young man with a famous father, he acted like any other rich and spoiled brat by buying weapons in the black market and show off...

It is upto the Indian court and judiciary system to decide about him and his guilt. Certainly, he should receive his fair share of punishment if pronounced guilty.

Either you are a terrorist or you are not and the court verdict clearly acquitted him of that charge yesterday in as many words. Possession of a weapon does not mean that you are a terrorist. If that were so there are thousands of people - celebrities, professionals, businessmen, politicians - the list can go on, who own unlicensed guns which of course is against the laws of the land .Guilt and punishment are for the courts to decide. Much as we'd like to pass judgement it is not our prerogative

Hi bally, It is really sad that it took 13 long years for the case to come up for judgement. It may take another 30 years to punish the guilty.(after appeal & re-appealing in higher courts & numerous mercy petitions from fellow Indians). So who knows wheather Sanjay Dutt will live upto that day for the law to take any action.

He must be a nut or foolish enough to hobnob with the undesirable elements. He must have been used to the larger than life lifestyle. Despite his Gandhigiri in the recent film, he must have been living in a world of amoral values. A pampered child brought up in a vitiated and amoral environment.

If Sanjay Dutt is guilty ,which I suppose he is!, then he must be given punishment .It makes no difference that he is famous.
According to me, he must be imprisoned in a dark cell, where there is not even a ray of light, and must be made to write the names of all those who have lost their lives, of all those who were waitingfor their chidren [that never returned]with a pen whose ink glitters in the DARK so that he will die of
MENTAL ILLNESS!

I don't know about that. Listen dude, these guys lead really odd lives in "la la" land. I don't pay any attention to them.

I definately think that more investigations would be needed to draw up some solid evidence against him.
