I don't know about all this "statement game" stuff but I do know that the deeper we get into the season the faster the cream rises and the sh*it sinks.

Colts are cream, so are the Ravens, it also looks like the Seahawks and Cowboys may be as well...............

Slow down there. The Eagles are finished now that Mcnabb is out for the year. Do you know why his knee blew out, it was from the weight of carrying the team. Peyton will do what he always does in the playoffs. He will get hit a few times and get beat down like a little girl. I am sure New England or some other team will make him look like the little polly prissy pants that he really is. Peyton is great in months that end in -er. He is not good in months that end in -y. He is too much of a whiner to ever win a superbowl. He's not a big game guy.

Not even close. Had they done this against a healthy-ish (I mean, what team is completely healthy this late in the year?) team, absolutely.

Based on the remainder of their schedule, I doubt the Colts will hit a quality opponent until the Divisional Playoffs, either. If it ended today, that opponent would either be Denver, Kansas City or New England. All three of these have potent run offenses which could hurt the Colts badly...specifically with the Pats, I suspect the rematch to be much different than their earlier meeting.

The Colts must win the Super Bowl to have a complete season.

Who did they play again? Oh yes, the most banged up team in the NFL. They better start to get a good running game because Manning has had lack luster weeks for about the past 3-4 weeks now. Just shows that if they play a good team such as the Cowboy's they will buckle under pressure.

Big deal, if anything the Statement was we aren't that good. Come on they beat Journeyman Garcia whoopie. Come on did anyone think that the Eagles had a chance? This isn't like people were thinking the Eagles had a chance.

You're right, it was a statement game. If they DO get to the Superbowl, they'll get beat...but they wont make it that far so good luck with the long off-season. Gig 'Em.

not a good comparison, how about comparing them when things are even. All the Colts did was beat up on a cripple.
