Our tradition is to see if we can afford to make it.....
We have no tree... no wreath.... no decorations.... none of the kind..... i afford the gifts that I can afford... and I give as much as I can no matter the cost because I like that look on the faces of them who receive what I give....... I give nothing no one would like... Everyone gets something they want.....
and so we give thanks and we eat......
Food stays out till all is filled......
Clean up the next day all the wrappings..... So they can see the mess that they have gotten.... hehheeee...
But, if we cannot afford it, Christmas doesn't happen until income tax.....
That's just how it is......
your sister,
Ginger
