I dont know if I am pregnant just yet but I am showing symptoms of it. I am trying to hold off on taking a PT because I think i should wait a little longer to get a more accurate reading. But for the last three days I have been suffering through a constant headache. Its really starting to get annoying. I am constantly feeling nausea all during the day and though my breasts havent grown any they are in pain alot. I just want to know if a constant headache is a sign of pregnancy in early pregnancy

No - a headache is not a sign of pregnancy. That doesn't mean you couldn't be or aren't pregnant - you certainly could be. I would look to another cause for the headaches, and of course, if you think you are pregnant be very careful about taking any medication.

I would go a head a do a pregnancy test. If nausea and sore breasts are being caused by hormonal changes of pregnancy then hormone levels ought to be (no guarantee of course) high enough to show a positive pregnancy test.

Tylenol is safe to take during pregnancy, however headaches can be an early sign of high blood pressure issues. When I was preggers with my third, toward the end of the pregnancy, I got a severe headache that would not go away. Not with tylenol, not with prescriptions, etc. This was a hypertension headache, even though my blood pressure was within normal limits. I was put on bedrest until I delivered. So it is always best to check with your doctor if the tylenol does not help. Headaches are normal and they affect the pregnant and non pregnant alike. Doctors will tell you however not to take ibuprofen or asprin during a pregnancy. And regular strength tylenol (acetametaphin) should only be taken when necessary. So when I got a headache I would first try to rest and relax, maybe take a shower, eat a snack, and ask the hubby for a shoulder rub lol. If that didn't work I took a tylenol. However a headache can indicate other issues and a persistant headache should be checked out, for your sake and baby's.

Headache is a pain in the head, scalp or neck. Headaches can be
caused by minor problems like eyestrain, lack of coffee or more
serious reasons like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and
meningitis. Taking painkillers continuously can have harmful side
effects, so it is better to modify your lifestyle. More information

Could be but I doubt it.The headaches dint usually start til a little later in to it.How late is your period? You didn't mention that and without telling us that it's really hard to say.It could be stress. Is something in your life stressing you out bad?The breast tenderness could just be a sign of an upcoming period.Good Luck!
