ok here's the scenaraio. Imagine you are a student in school(grade school through high school. If you were to have accidently overheard of something dangerous that would harm students and teachers' lives, would you inform school officials?

-this is something for a school paper. I need some reasons why you would inform and or why you wouldn't.
I am looking mainly for reasons not to inform, so please, if you have anything, type type, type!

-it's not like a school news paper, more like a persuasive essay. I have to give an oposing view, and give a rebuttle.

-i of course like many of you also believe that you should inform, but I need people to fight against what I am saying, even if you believe that you should inform as well. Give as many reasons as to why a student might not inform. Be creative.

ok, the main reason people dont "inform" (tattle) is because they dont want people mad at them (get their *** kicked) or because they think hey cool lets see if it really happens! also, because they call their bluff. or want to mind their own business.

Pro: Where peoples' lives are in imminent danger, and the source of the information is impeccable, there really are no choices.

Con: Since the possibility exists, I would make absolutely sure that I would, in no way, be suspected of being implicated, by having proof of the conditions under which the information came to me.

Well, if it was my friend I might not want to get them in trouble and ruin our friendship just cuz they were ranting. I mean come on I say I hate my mom all the time but I don't really mean it. I don't want someone to get kicked out of school for something stupid, that could ruin their life.

I WOULD MOST DEFINITELY INFORM THE PRINCIPAL OF THE INPENDING DISASTER.

WHEN INNOCENT LIVES ARE IN DANGER, INCLUDINT YOUR OWN, IT'S IMPARITIVE TO STAND UP AND DO THE RIGHT THING.

TOO MANY PEOPLE ALLOW THEMSELVES TO BECOME PARALIZED IN THEIR OWN FEAR, AND IT'S BECAUSE OF THIS THAT IN SO MANY SITUATIONS PEOPLE DO THE WRONG THING BY KEEPING SILENT AND LETTING THE DISASTER OCCUR.

GOOD LUCK ON YOUR PAPER!

Because that would make you a snitch.

Write that as your opposing view, they'll love it.
