No, I don't think they should get a divorce. Everyone has their shortcomings and how beautiful is it when married people actually remain in relationships even when there is difficulty.
Part of what makes a marriage work is letting the other person know it's okay to be vulnerable, real, damaged or imperfect and there is still a safe place in the loving arms of their spouse.
That's what marriage is about and anyone who thinks differently has much to learn about life. It's my opinion when someone throws a relationship away they are selfish, frightened & insecure.
Divorce is never an option - in my opinion.

No, they did not reconcile. After all the therapy and two seasons of "Breaking Bonaduce", their divorce was final earlier this summer. You can hear him on Adam Corolla's radio show mornings in L.A. I think the divorce was inevitable- I mean Gretchen acted like she hated him. She would never have sex with him or anything either. He was sleeping in the guest house toward the end of the marriage. What kind of realtionship is that?!?! It's just too bad that she got a bunch of his cash when she never worked a day in her life!

I think Gretchen would be better off with out him, he thinks he so tuff but the right man hasn't come along and knocked him out.

do any of you know how they ended up together??? when he had his talk show, short lived he told the story, she asked for this. I like him, he doesn't make excuses for what ever shape he is in
